This was Our Ropes Course Sunday Morning Worship Service.
(The "3x5 prayer" was made by the retreaters throughout the weekend.)

Opening Prayer:
Eternal God,
Whose Word calls us into being, and
Whose Love calls us into Community, and
Whose Grace calls us Your children -
We confess the brokenness of our relationships,
Fear and Pride separate us from each other with walls of insecurity.
Remind us in Your Word and in our circumstances
that we are One in Your Spirit,
that we have felt the joy of being a Community,
that we can continue to build that relationship,
that it is not foolish to trust our friends who have placed their trust in You.
Grant us, Lord, that we might share this Wisdom
    with our friends,
    with our families, and especially
with that one person whom You know to need it, and to need us, the most.
We ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Saviour.
Amen

Hymn - And They'll Know We Are Christians By Our Love

Prayer of Thanksgiving (our 3x5 Prayer)
Thank you God for keeping us in good health.

Thank you God for all you've given us. Thanks for trust, frolicking, and good leaders. Thank you for
all you have given us.

Thank you for the friendships that have grown, that have strengthened, or have been born this
weekend.  Thank you for safety, for health, and for the accomplishments that came as we all helped
and worked with and encouraged each other.

... and thank you God for my new sweatshirt, for having a good time with friends, and having the
opportunity to go on the ropes course.

Thank you God for letting us hopefully achieve our goals this weekend.  Let what we've learned here
help us later on in life.

For the opportunities of this weekend to learn to trust each other.

Thank you for bringing us all together this weekend. Thank you for allowing us to all remain safe and
in one piece, a little sore, but in one piece. Thank you for bringing us closer together this weekend.

Thank you for giving us beautiful weather the entire weekend. We learned to work together even if we
thought a task could not be done.

Thank you for the opportunity we have all been given to challenge ourselves personally and as a group.
Thanks for our amazing leaders, and for the support and camaraderie we have offered one another over
this weekend.  And above all else, thanks for all the fun we had this weekend!

I pray we have a safe trip home.  I also thank God for a good weekend.

Thank you God ... for this beautiful camp, for the old and new friends here with us this weekend.
Thank you for John and Paul helping us to become closer as a group. To trust ourselves and each other.

I am thankful for wonderful leaders who helped guide us spiritually and also helped to give us physical
encouragement to do the obstacles. I also thank all of my friends for being so true and kind and being
so good to each other.

Amen.

Summing Up -
We read 1 Corinthians 12: 12-20, and talked about how the weekend had made us into a real community, as a part of the church,
we are part of the Body of Christ; our group is a body for Christ.
