Collapsed after lunch and a bit of roaming about. |

Bristol has oldest Methodist building, the New Room, and Charles Wesley's house. Spent the afternoon at Warwick Castle, and the evening exploring Shakespeare's home town. |

followed by a Shakespeare play at Stratford Coventry Cathedral was bombed in WWII and rebuilt - an extremely moving site. Oxford University - Lincoln College was where Charles & John formed the Holy Club Magdalen College was home to C.S. Lewis We're seeing "A Midsummer Night's Dream" |

Epworth is the birthplace of the Wesleys, we visited the Rectory where they grew up and the church where Samuel Wesley was pastor, (father of John & Charles) where John preached one of his first open-air sermons. |

Newton Abbot, Devon, England We stayed with different families from the congregation here, so our various activities were actually varied! |

We assisted in their morning service, then had the various activities our host families had cooked up for us, then back to lead the evening service, and back to our hosts' homes. |
|
|
|
Luck was with us: we had seats all the way there. Once checked in, we scouted around for what to take in that day and dinner at the Hard Rock Café. |

There are a few Wesley sites here: Aldersgate, the Wesley Chapel, ... We also got to these and more: the Tower of London (& Tower Bridge), Westminster Abbey, a play (The Mousetrap!), shopping at Harrod's, Hyde Park, the Underground,a Double-decker Bus, Trafalgar Square, et cetera! |
